  Hooray!! Liam has started walking. I didn't think it would never happen...I just wasn't sure when it would. Well the time has come, and, as you can see from the video, he's still really wobbly, but it is just a matter of time before he can chase Kassidy around on 2 legs!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Happy Birthday to my Kassidy!!! Where has the time gone? I can hardly believe that I have a 3-year-old.
  
  We didn't do much for Kassidy actual birthday this year. We went out to dinner and stopped for ice cream after, but that was about it. On Friday we had pictures in the morning then her 3 year check-up in the afternoon. Everything was normal. Kassidy is 36.5 inches and weighs 32.5 pounds!! A pretty uneventful visit, which is fine with me. She did have to get 1 shot (after I had told her she wouldn't be getting one!), but she was a trooper, and seemed to mind being held down more than getting the shot. She was rewarded with 3 suckers and oodles of stickers!
  
  Today was Kassidy party, and unlike the past 2 years, it was very low key and much more "Play Date" based. We had Jim, Erin, Madison, Melynn, and Allison, Sam and Griffin, and our neighbors Stacey and Emma, who is also 3, for snacks and cake. It was a nice time, and I think it was just about all Kassidy could handle since she was going without a nap, and she has ventured into the land of "Hey, that's MINE!" Sharing is not something that agrees with Miss Kassidy! Considering, I think she did pretty well, and I know she had fun!
  
  There really isn't much to report otherwise, since it seems like Kassidy is already doing everything and now it's just a matter of honing the skills. She is doing really well with utensils, and often requests a knife to cut with. She is eager to help, and always requests tasks that she can perform when we are doing something (I wish that would last!!). She is completely day-time potty trained, and can go to the potty all by herself. Her imagination and energy levels are exploding. I can't keep up with her most days, and I try to remember a time when that girl wasn't going 100-miles per minute. She loves to dance, and we usually dance around the kitchen in the morning to a fun Irish CD. Conversations are full and coherent. Colors and shapes are a joke, and she can identify all numbers and uppercase letters. She is a complete TV junkie, but luckily her line-up is 99.9% educational. She likes to cuddle when it is on her terms, and shows great empathy and compassion for people with hugs, kisses, and concerned words. Kassidy cannot wait to go to school, and asks daily if this is the day she gets to go.
  
  I'm in awe of what is crammed into that beautiful little creature!! I am so lucky that I have been home to watch her grow, and I am looking forward to all of the wonderful things she will learn, discover, and teach me next year and all the years after.
  
  Happy Birthday, Kassidy Joan!! I love you more than I know how to say!!!
