As you can see from the new pictures we had quite an eventful evening. Liam is now the proud new owner of 11 stitches! He got 8 in one cut, and 3 in the other. That a boy. We went to some friends' house last night. As we were getting ready to leave Liam was practicing his monkey impersonation and fell from the chair he was "monkeying" and smacked his chin on the brick fireplace. He was fine, just scared and bloody, but he got to ride in the ambulance. He fell asleep on the way to the hospital, and was pretty pleasent until they had to sew him up. Then...not so much, but once they were done he was happy again, and today he was "monkeying" all over everything all over again. How long does it take for a kid to learn a lesson?? Obviously not soon enough. He gets the stitches removed next Wednesday.
Is this what boys do?? I know this is what his Uncle Johnathan did, but are all boys like this? Geesh, the kid is only 17 months old. I don't think I can take it when he learns to ride a bike. Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comments:Rosie: Just today we were talking about all of the blood my brother lost throughout his childhood.Erin: Ask my brother about riding a bike.Jessica: Yep, It's what boys do....Grammy: Well, he seems to be quite an achiever!! His Uncle/Godfather, Johnathan, didn't get his first stitches until age 5! You've really got your hands full with this one!Add a comment:
