Isn't it fun, cute, and exciting when your children learn a new "trick" or cross the threshold of a new milestone?? NO IT'S NOT!!! Our little darling daughter has not only become a pro at schimmying down the side of her crib to pitter-pat her way around her room...she has now mastered the Door Knob!! UG!!! Luckily, she seems to be getting up around the same time Liam is having his bottle (7:30), so hopefully it won't be an issue of her running a'muck upstairs. The good thing is that she went into my bedroom first this morning looking for me instead of heading downstairs. Hopefully it'll stay that way.

Good grief, first she's letting herself out of her holding pen...I mean bedroom; what's next, the keys to the car????

GREAT NEWS!! The videos seem to be working thanks to an About My Baby system upgrade. Hence, there will be (hopefully) tons of videos for everyone to enjoy.

This makes me extremly happy because sometimes you just can't tell how funny Kassidy is by the pictures. Now she's animated. How exciting!!!

Two big happenings here at El Rancho Kelly...

1st: Liam rolled over from back to belly!! He's been rolling from belly to back for weeks now, but couldn't figure out how to get that darn arm out of the way to get back to his belly. That smarty figured it out today.

2nd: Kassidy spent most of her waking hours today in BIG GIRL PANTIES!!! She did soooo good, and only had 2 accidents, but I'm only counting 1. The first time she just went, and didn't tell us. The second time she started to go and took off to the bathroom shouting "Potty, Potty!! Mummy, hurry!" After that we just kept asking her. We also greatly reduced her fluid intake, so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. I'm also sure that Kassidy seeing Sarah use the potty at our play-date yesterday help a lot too.

How cute is the picture of Kassidy and Sarah? I was so happy when I got the picture of them standing together again like I had when they were just 1 year old. Amie said I'm doubly lucky because Sarah hates to have her picture taken. I'm not sure what that's like because every time Kassidy sees a camera she's "Posing and Cheesing". Hopefully I'll be able to get another one when the girls are 3.

Liam is 6 months old!! I can hardly believe how fast it has gone. It's kind of sad that I don't remember his early months like I did with Kassidy, but when I think about it, I don't remember that much from when Kassidy was a baby either. It seemed like she was a baby forever though, and Liam is just rocketing out of infancy. He is still a very happy baby who still seems amazed by all that is going on around him, and is dazzled by his big sister. He is a great night time sleeper, but tends to not sleep as much as I would like during the day. I wish I had as much time to spend holding and cuddling him as I did with Kassidy, but I'm sure he's not starving for affection!
