So, after a few weeks of worry, I am happy to announce that not only do we have a Solid Food Eating, Sippy Cup Drinking, Furniture Cruising, Whole Night Sleeping baby girl in our midst, but we can now add Babbling to Kassidy's ever growing areas of expertise!
For a several weeks, she has been able to make a babababa sound when she flips her bottom lip with her fingers. Recently, she's been more vocal, but mostly making vowel sounds. On Friday, Bill and I noticed that she was opening and closing her mouth a lot more than normal, but no sounds were coming out. Last night at Bill's birthday dinner (happy birthday!) she just starts talking and talking. Baw baw baw Baw baw baw. Always in threes, and she would get really loud too. It was great fun, and I was so excited since I had to say "No" at her 9 month check-up when the Dr. asked if she was making the Mamama and Dadada sounds. Soon she'll be quoting Shakespeare!Comments:Add a comment:
