Kassidy had her first meal ordered just for her tonight. She enjoyed a messy plate (a few noodles at a time) of Macaroni and Cheese. She was one happy girl!!

We had our 9 month checkup last week. It went very well, and our little lady's weighing in at 19lbs 6oz. Kassidy is also 27 1/8" tall. We can say tall now that she can stand up!
Pulling up has become #1 playtime activity around Casa D'Kelly. That and chewing on everything. There are several little munch marks on our coffee and end tables. Little reminders of the teething days! Kassidy is getting very good at cruising around the furniture, but doesn't like to walk while being held up. She would rather crawl. She is very quick, and has even learned to follow the command "Come Here" especially if there is a bottle or food present! It's a double edged sword really, she can come to me when ever she wants to, and she trys to get to me where ever I am. Going to the bathroom is a challenge, especially since she's discovered the toilet paper roll!!
All in all, things are going just great. Everyday seems to be just a little more fun, and now that she is taking a bottle and eating solids Daddy has solo bedtime duty on Tuesday and Thursday. I kinda miss our quiet time when she would nurse to sleep and when I get home from Yoga, it makes me want to go wake her up for a little while just so I can get my baby-fix, but I'll let her sleep and give her that many more kisses in the morning. Good Night, Sweet Baby...Mama loves you!Comments:Add a comment:

Kassidy has now sprouted 2 new teeth. Very exciting for most, not so exciting for the breastfeeding mommy! It hasn't been too bad yet, just a couple of near misses, nothing to hateful.
If you've taken a look at the various pictures now adorning our website, you will see that not only has Miss Kassidy become a Mobile Machine, but she is now able to pull herself up on just about anything that will hold her weight, and some stuff that won't. And I thought she was high maintenance before...Geesh. We new Mommies really underestimate the "Lumpy Days".
I can't believe how much she's done in just a few weeks. I thought she was never going to get moving, and now there's no stopping her!
Kassidy also has a new trick. For several weeks, I would flip her bottom lip and she would make a "bah-bah-bah-bah" noise. If I patted my palm on her open mouth she would make an "ah-ah-ah" sound, like an Indian. Well now, Kassidy can flip her lip all by herself. It's so cute. She'll just be sitting there, and all the sudden I hear "bah-bah-bah" and there she is flipping that bottom lip and singing away. How cute is our kid!!! I mean seriously, has there ever been a cuter kid...I don't think so.
Thanks for checking in, and I hope everything is swell in your corner of the world.
Good Night Noises Everywhere...Comments:Add a comment:
