Well Friends, Family and Misc. Visitors...we officially have a crawler on our hands!! Yes, little lumpy Kassidy has decided that sitting peacefully on her quilt while mommy does "something else" is no longer a fulfilling way to spend her day!! She's been scooting for a few weeks now, not really grasping the Hand/Knee:Hand/Knee combo, and spent most of the time with a face full of rug...or dog...mostly rug. Well yesterday, I went to empty the dishwasher, and when I peeked around the corner to check on the little darling she was hightailing it to her basket of toys...Needless to say, I was very excited. After I checked to make sure her surrounding area was "babyproof", I went back to the dishwasher, warning the dog on my way that the pink thing that tastes like cookies and likes to grab her tail was now mobile! Doggie Beware!!!
Miss Kassidy has also started feeding herself! Very happy Mommy. I can now eat in semi-piece. She is now able to use her "Pincher" reflex, and can pick up pieces of bread, waffle, Gerber Puffs, and little bits of fuzz on the carpet...Good Grief! It is a good thing though, aside from the daily vacuuming. My baby is growing up!! I can't believe it. I say that everytime, but it's true.
